The College Admission Essay Review program is how we can help Students increase their chances of college admission by helping review, edit, and critique up to 3 of their essays. Our NACAC (National Association of College Admission Counseling) Counselors know the “tricks of the trade” and they know what colleges are looking for when it comes to Admission Essays. Nowadays, many students have good grades and colleges have gotten more and more competitive. The Admission Essay is there one chance to see how a student responds to a question without just a one-word answer. Therefore, it’s become an integral part of the Admissions Process. Here is how the College Admission Essay Review process actually works: Once the Student has written his or her essays and has had them reviewed by a teacher, parent, school guidance counselor, sibling or friend, and the student thinks they’re nearly ready to send off, the student should email up to 3 of them to us (well in advance of any deadlines). Students must also let us know which college each is intended for. Our Essay Reviewers will review up to 3 essays and let the Student know if the essays are appropriate for the Student and the college to which he/she is applying, and if the Student replied to the prompts in ways that reflect the Student’s best. However, please keep in mind that it is the Student’s responsibility to actually write the essays. The NACAC Counselor assigned to your Student will professionally review, edit and critique up to 3 essays. If there is anything in the essay that the reviewer feels should be added, subtracted, edited, changed, etc… to help more accurately illustrate the message your student is trying to make to the college, they will make their notes in red (so that you can see the changes) and email them back to the Student. The College Admission Essay Review service allows for 1 professional review of each of the 3 essays. The In-Depth Personalized Analysis on your Chances of Enrollment at up to 4 colleges will let you know in advance your chances of admission at over 150 of the nations’ Top Colleges (including the Ivy League!) – with a 94% accuracy rate!!! This analysis was developed by Ivy League-educated experts that assess hundreds of variables – from extracurricular activities to GPA – and tells you exactly how likely you are to get into each college. Stop sweating bullets and losing sleep wondering if you’ve got a shot at admission! Unlike many counselors who use broad labels such as "reach" or "safety" schools, our report quantifies your chances of getting in using percentages. We combine our admissions expertise with advanced statistical analysis to give you your probability of admission at the colleges you are considering. Knowing whether you have an 83% chance of getting into a college or a 35% chance enables you to make the best and most informed application decisions. Follow-Up Student/Parent Q&A Interview with their very own Private NACAC Admissions Coach. In addition to the one Student Interview, you and your Student will have access to a personalized Q&A follow-up interview with a NACAC Certified Admissions Coach where both you and your Student can ask ANY follow-up questions they have about schools, admissions, applications, things they need to be doing now that they’re down to the wire, etc… |
